Iain Hunter
After working with us to edit Silva Lining’s Care Plan, Iain Sound Engineered and edited our second audio drama podcast, Tobias and Syd.
Iain is a Creative Sound Designer for Audio Drama, Podcasts and Radio, with 30 years of experience. He’s also a Senior Audio Supervisor and team leader with the BBC, as a dubbing mixer for an independent post production facility, and more recently his work as a freelance Sound Designer working under the constraints of lockdown.
He now provides an independent service to writers and producers, with projects including podcasts, audiobooks, outside broadcast events and other ventures. He’s been involved in the technical planning and delivery for many large, high profile and incredibly diverse projects, ranging from the Edinburgh Festival coverage for BBC Radio, classical concerts on BBC Radio 3, and live coverage for the BBC World Service from the Athens, Beijing and London Olympics.
