Lucy Gough

Lucy Gough has written extensively for TV radio and stage. Her work includes Wuthering Heights (Womans hour series 2003, BBC Radio 4). Mapping The Soul (BBC Radio 4 2005). Stage adaptation of Wuthering Heights was commissioned by the Aberystwyth Arts Centre in 2010 and toured Wales in 2011. She wrote for Hollyoaks Channel 4 for ten years and currently writes for BBC drama Doctors. In 2010 she was awarded a ‘Granada artist’ writing residency in California. She has also recently been awarded a Creative Wales Award by the Welsh Arts Council and is a Creative Research Fellow at Aberystwyth University. Currently she is under commission with the National Theatre of Wales to write a play about Brenda Chamberlain and Theatr Iolo to do an adaptation of Adventures in The Skin Trade.
